Doggie Shower
Everybody with a dog knows that splishing and splashing is a regular part of their washing routine. The Incredible Dog Shower changes that up, providing a dedicated space designed for dog washing. One that makes the showering experience kinder and more comfortable for hounds and easier for their human companions. This shower can seamlessly integrate with other domestic appliances, in utility and boot rooms, or it can stand alone in a garage or shed. It’s €2,200 from Incredible Dog Shower.
Sicilian craftsmanship

Springtime sees the return of colour to our exterior landscape and we see those hues reflected in this fabulously hand-painted and glazed ceramic piece. Its design draws inspiration from the old Sicilian craftsmanship of the ‘Testa di Moro’ or Moor’s head — a traditional symbol seen in Sicily. We also like that it’s multifunctional. Yours can be a Sicilian bust or a decorative vase, in the Estefania or ‘crowned with laurels’ style. It’s €129 from Werns.
Round Bed

If ‘Turandot’ calls to mind the Puccini and Alfano opera, this Turandot bed calls to mind the 1966 painting ‘Hef on Round Bed’. By Larry Gordon, it features Hugh Hefner and depicts a room in the Playboy mansion in Chicago. While circular beds have a 60s vibe, they also have their own inimitable style, one that’s fun and — dare we say? — racy. This one is available in leather and a wide choice of colours and fabrics. It’s €4,021 from SedieDesign.
Road Trip

It’s the season for planning road trips and we’re loving this limited edition Bun Van Bed which epitomises adventure. Encompassing a complete bedroom set for a children’s space, it’s inspired by the iconic 60s camper van ‘Fillmore’ from the Disney movie ‘ Cars’. The exterior is fibreglass, with chrome-plated finishes. The interior is made of palisander wood veneer and features a bed, a TV, a desk, a mini-bar and a sofa. It’s €50,530.00 from Circu Magical Furniture.
Majestic Chandeliers

Despite their humble beginnings — when they were wooden structures used to hang candles from church ceilings — chandeliers have always been in vogue. Madeleine Boulesteix creates a range of unique chandeliers composed of collected objects. Some are powered by candles, others by electricity. Our favourite is this clear, candle-only, quartet chandelier. Lit by five tealight candles it’s majestic; €665 from Madeleine Boulesteix.
Classy Cabinets

There’s nothing like a splash of colour to add interest to furniture pieces. This eye-catching tall cabinet features hand-painted vintage adverts, for a truly unique look. With two panelled doors and two shelves, it offers plenty of space for larger items. We’re impressed that it’s made from reclaimed wood, making it a sustainable choice. We like its funky, eclectic vibe that will add pzazz to any boho space. It’s €850 from Home Street Home.
Exquisite sofa

Vincent Darré is a designer of many talents. Whether it’s fashion or interiors, his work is unerringly iconic and something wild. He has said that his ‘Conversation’ collection is a tribute to Salvador Dali and the surrealist artist’s work ‘Archeological Reminiscence of Millet’s Angelus’. Then referencing Cecil Beaton’s Gala and Dali picture, he said: ‘From these cutout shadows, I imagined sofas, armchairs, brightly-coloured chairs conversing in a surrealist lounge.’ And so he did. Exquisitely and meticulously. Darré’s Conversation sofa costs from €10,560 from The Invisible Collection.
Eyecatching Lamp

The Seletti design house is known for blending art with daily life icons. So, where you get function, you also get shape. This Love is a Verb, Lea and Toni lamp is all that and more. Idiosyncratic, it’s an eye-catching and talk-provoking piece. One that would not only illuminate but enhance any space. It’s €313.00 from Lampmasters.
