I have a hornbeam tree which is about 30 years old. Sizewise, it is 25ft tall and about 30ft wide. I trim back the side of it that is at the driveway, but on the lawn side, the branches are dipping down onto the ground. I love the tree but does it need to be “tamed” somewhat?
