Furniture, paintings, jewellery and silver are on offer at James Adam in Dublin, writes
The last “At Home” sale of 2019 takes place at James Adam in Dublin at 11.30am tomorrow.
The top lot of 537 listed is a c1680 Dutch School work titled Elegant Figures by a Fountain in a Park, which is estimated at €5,000-€8,000.
An artwork in the manner of Salvator Rosa (1615-1673) of fishermen and boatmen by a mill stream is estimated at €4,000-€6,000.
Among the main lots of furniture is a Georgian breakfront bookcase (estimated at €3,000-€5,000), a set of 14 Empire-style dining chairs (€3,000-€5,000) and a French giltwood and marble-topped console table (€3,000-€5,000).
There are around 100 lots of jewellery, as well as 80 lots of silver and a good selection of antique glass, including a pair of c1800 Waterford urns and covers in the neo-classical style (€3,000-€5,000).
The auction is on view from 11am to 5pm today.
