On the bathroom shelf this week is the scent of summer, Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet. With top notes of white raspberry, bergamot and cloudberries, with daisy tree petal and jasmine milk in the heart of it, it’s a feminine playful fragrance. 50ml is €68.60 and it’s available in Brown Thomas stores and Arnotts Beauty Hall.

Róisin O’Farrell has a new exhibition running at The Killarney Art Gallery until the end of July. This wonderful oil painting is called ‘Present Over Perfect’, it’s 80x60 cms and costs €3,500. Find out more at www.killarneyartgallery.com

Horizon Furniture is currently exhibiting with Design Island in Galway. Fergal O’Leary, based in Cork, is known for his playful and innovative designs — just like this gorgeous Mondrian cabinet. How stunning is this fibreglass and bronze sculpture by Orla de Brí entitled ‘SHE SILENTLY PROTECTS AND OBSERVES’, it’s €16,500 and is currently protecting and observing the stunning sunken Victorian gardens at the Montenotte Hotel, Cork. It’s part of 35 sculptures exhibiting in the gardens, including Ciaran Patterson, Ray Delaney and Anna Campbell, in association with the Kildare Gallery.
