My monochrome moment this week is this stunning patterned ink cushion by Aoife Mullane. Aoife designs textiles for interior fabrics and studied printed textile design in NCAD. She creates unique fabrics for commercial and residential projects. She tells me: “This is my newest range of homeware fabrics and they are all designed by creating interesting inkwork drawings and paintings in my notebooks – my fabrics are direct translations of these drawings and so I consider them little artworks of their own.” To get your hands on one of these little artworks, email: a.mullanedesign@gmail.com and watch out for her soon-to-be-launched website amullanedesign.com/ and Aoife’s Instagram is www.instagram.com/a.mullane_design/
