This beautiful sculptural African tulip is by Crawford College of Art and Design graduate, Cian Carroll. It’s 26x45cm and is part of the graduate show at The Lavit Gallery opening today. This piece is called Fledglings ’17. Carroll works predominantly with sheet aluminium, cutting and folding the sheet metal to achieve structural and linear objects resembling flowers. We love it.
