This weeks jobs around the garden

If your compost bin has sat there untouched or even unlooked at for a while, now is the time to get to work.

Hopefully, it is filled with brown, crumbly, ready-to-use, homemade compost.

If so, then empty it and use this garden gold around beds now before the winter sets in.

Its good to have an empty bin before the autumn starts as there will be a lot of fallen leaves and pruning over the next couple of months.

If your heap or bin is working away fine, then no need to do anything except make sure they are empty and clean.

If however, your bins or heap isn’t composting your waste quick enough then its time to look at investing in more compost bin.
