There are few sights in the garden as stunning as a house, wall or archway dripping with the purple/blue or white of wisteria blooms.

Given the right conditions, free draining soil and plenty of sunshine, wisteria will flower year after year once they have reached flowering age, which can sometimes take 15 years.

However to ensure better and more abundant flowers it is often recommended to prune twice a year, in July/August and again in January/February.
