Registration has now opened for the 7th ‘Celebrating Cork’s Past Exhibition’ which will take place in the City Hall on Friday 02nd October 2015. This is a wonderful event where heritage groups of Cork city and county get to showcase their work in their local areas.
In relation to registration it is also hoped that event organisers will add details of their Heritage Week events online at www.heritageweek.ie as soon as possible. This will ensure inclusion in Cork County Council’s Heritage Week Events Guide which will be going to print shortly.
There will be a free gardening workshop at The Secret Garden in Newmarket on tomorrow, Sunday 28 at 3pm. The topic is: Success with Roses.
Unfairly described as high maintenance and troublesome, roses are the flower of the summer. Come along for advice on growing them well without resorting to chemicals.
