Innishannon Flower and Garden Club will have a floral demonstration entitled “The Joy of Easter” by Catherine Shields, of “Petals and Presents”, Innishannon, at 8pm on Wednesday, April 1 (note date) in Barrett’s Lounge, Innishannon. Non-members most welcome.

Glenville Flower & Garden Club will host Carmel O’Driscoll with our Easter Demonstration titled “Easter Joy” in Kade’s Kounty on Tuesday, March 31, at 8.30pm. All welcome.

Terranova Gardens are having an open weekend today and tomorrow, the first time in 15 years they have opened this early in the season. Admission is free and there will be complimentary refreshments. Contact Deborah at www.terranovagarden.com

Waterford Garden Plant Society will host Billy Alexander, of Kell’s Bay Gardens, on Wednesday, April 1, to discuss: “Growing hardy exotics in Ireland”. Plant list available in advance and order can be taken.

The National Botanic Gardens at Kilmacurragh, Kilbride, Co Wicklow, are holding a guided rhododendron walk tomorrow, at 3.00pm with rendezvous in the car park.
