* Glenville Flower & Garden Club will host Marion Creedon Hegarty (right) of Top Image at Kades Kounty on Tuesday April 29 @8.30pm for an Image and Style Night.

* Free Gardening Class at The Secret Garden, Newmarket (www.thesecretgardener.com; 029 60084) on Organic Gardening Remedies — how to tackle every day pests and diseases without resorting to the chemical sprays, on Sunday April 27 at 3pm.

* Ladysbridge and District Flower and Garden Club will meet on Monday April 28 at Garryvoe Hotel at 8pm. Guest speaker Susan Turner will give a talk on tunnels and how to get the best value from them. Horticultural Competition — Three flowers from Spring bulbs.

* Kinsale Garden & Flower Club host a Flowers & Fun talk with Holly Wood on May 8 at 8pm in St Multose Hall. Sales table, plants, accessories and& books.

* The next meeting of the Owenabue Garden and Flower club, Carrigaline will be held in St Mary’s Church of Ireland School Hall (Entrance — beside the main gates to Community School) on Monday April 28 at 8 pm. The speaker will be Frances McDonald of The Bay Garden, Enniscorthy, on “Colour in the Garden throughout the Year!”. Frances is an experienced garden tour guide at home and abroad.
