Plan to erect telecommunications equipment on Cork apartment building roof turned down

A proposal to erect telecommunications equipment on the roof of a Cork City student apartment building has been turned down.

Local planners have refused permission to Vantage Towers Limited, which had sought to erect antennas, dishes, cabinets and other associated telecommunications equipment on the roof of the Nido Student Accommodation complex at Curraheen Point, Farranlea Road, Cork.
