A second-generation estate agent firm in Kerry has won the Sherry FitzGerald Countrywide Member of the Year Award for 2024, in the nationwide and now 32-North/South group’s 25th anniversary year.
Founded in 1977 by Sean Daly, Sherry FitzGerald Daly Kenmare joined the group’s countrywide franchise operation in 2004, with its prowess recognized at the annual Sherry FitzGerald conference in Kilkenny this month: it was attended by 250 property experts and addressed by All-Ireland winning hurling manager Liam Sheedy.
The group now has 107 offices on the island, including 74 franchise offices among 55 members, and 33 are wholly-owned. Sherry FitzGerald Daly Kenmare was the national member winner for professionalism and excellence, head of countrywide Des O’Malley said.
Its base covers commercial real estate, residential, holiday homes, licensed premises, agricultural holdings, and lettings in a broad region spanning Kenmare Bay, along with key locales — such as the Beara Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry, and the Iveragh Peninsula.
