Let there be light at Glebe House, Cratloe

When the owner of Glebe House in Cratloe asked for good light and lots of windows and balconies, her architect got very creative with the design. Built in to the side of a hill, it’s a highly unusual house which is a conventional two-storey on one side, but three storey on the other with a steeply-pitched roof which has two rows of Velux windows and three balconies.

The property also has a triangular-shaped conservatory at a gable end on the middle floor with a steeply-pitched wall of glass at one side.
