High-quality industrial building in Cork city’s Kilbarry Business Park

A high-quality industrial building, previously occupied by Belgian-based data processing company Option Wireless, is for sale at Cork’s IDA-owned Kilbarry Business and Technology Park, guiding €1.4 million.

The park, on Dublin Hill just off the main N20 Cork-Limerick/Mallow road in Blackpool about two miles from the city centre, runs to 155 acres. Occupiers include Flex/Flextronics, Yves Rocher, MGS, SE Systems, and Collins Print & Packaging.

Previous occupier Option Wireless employed up to 300 here up to 2009, when it announced an extra 145 jobs, but within a year it reversed employment trends, and shed most employees.
