Electrical retailer O’Callaghan Sound and Vision have pulled the plug on their long-established Cork city centre store, to move to an 8,000 sq ft superstore unit near Harvey Normans, by the Kinsale Road Roundabout, and which opens today.

Their move from 1,600sq ft at 62 Oliver Plunkett St to Unit 5 at the Kinsale Road Business Park is the equivalent of getting a 75in TV screen, after years watching on a traditional box telly.

O’Callaghan’s new profile superstore unit by the Kinsale Road Roundabout had been marketed by Lisney at €10 psf on a long lease for a renovated store with easy parking and access, near Smyths, Woodies, and Harvey Norman.
