Price tag should see quick sale for Tiffany Downs in Bishoptown
BOWE auctioneers have high hopes that 58 Tiffany Downs in Bishoptown will go ‘sale agreed’ before Christmas.
Probably the only three bed semi in Bishopstown with an asking price of less than €200,000 it is expected to attract a high number of viewings.
“The guide of €195,000 makes it very attractive for first time buyers and means it is getting good attention,’’ says auctioneer Brendan Bowe who arranged two busy open viewings during its first week on the market.
The house has been used as a rental property and is described as being in reasonable condition, but in need of a decorative makeover.
It has 961 sq ft of living space which includes a timber floored lounge as well as a kitchen/dining room with fitted units as well as an integrated oven and hob but not appliances.

Mr Bowe says the main interest is coming from first time buyers who are attracted by the price and the location. He believes there will also be some interest from investors because there is a high demand for rental houses in the area.
The Property Price register shows that houses in Tiffany Downs don’t come on the market very frequently — the last sale was in June 2014 when No 79 sold for €188,000.
