First phase of Shannon Group upgrade

A €6 million extension to a Shannon facility is part of a planned €21m first phase of new builds and upgrades of Shannon Commercial Properties’ portfolio, under the recently-created Shannon Group entity.

The Shannon Group’s property arm is set to triple an existing 33,000 sq ft building at the Shannon Free Zone, let to GE Measurement & Control: it will now grow to 100,000 sq ft, and is set to open next summer.

Employing 177, the US multi-national GE currently operates out of two separate facilities.
