A €6 million extension to a Shannon facility is part of a planned €21m first phase of new builds and upgrades of Shannon Commercial Properties’ portfolio, under the recently-created Shannon Group entity.

Shannon Development recorded the first net jobs gain at the Shannon Free Zone last year for the first time in four years.

THE chief executive of Shannon Development said yesterday he was confident that the Shannon Free Zone will record a net jobs gain this year after two years of net losses.

SHANNON Development confirmed yesterday that the Shannon Free Zone recorded a net loss of 254 jobs last year.
