Up for sale by auction later this month are three townhouses by the north Cork village Glanworth’s public green, built to varying levels of finish and temptingly priced — try a declared €90,000 reserve for not one, not two, but three. One is almost complete, needing €10,000 to €15,000 to finish to a high standard, the other is a bit back, and the third is closer to shell, but the way forward is visible.

Selling agents are Downing Commercial, and they’ll sell in lots, or as an entire, depending on demand on the day, September 26. They’ve booked the Grand Hotel in Fermoy for the sale, and can expect a packed hall as they’ve another local offering under the hammer too, a Castltownroche restaurant with overhead apartments and all with a €50,000 reserve.

The manageable Glanworth Three are 900 sq ft each, with three beds and one ensuite plus guest WC.
