Wave goodbye to the city

Up at the top of the converted, former Grand Hotel in Crosshaven, is apartment No 12, The Grand. And, in comparison terms when compared to most other one-bed apartments in the Cork market, No 12 is, indeed, quite grand.

First, it’s sort of up at penthouse level at the top of this Victorian building which has engrossing views of the water, over the boat club and its marinas (the famed RCYC, the world’s oldest, as they’ve been known to claim,) and there’s always boats to watch, or to listen to as rigging snaps in the wind, and as sails furl and unfurl.
