A MOVE back to the UK, and the chance to take advantage of a favourable exchange rate back there brings the price of this big Kerry house tumbling.

Originally guided in the high €500,000s, the new ‘priced to sell’ guide now on this 5,300 sq ft (including 1,600 sq ft of storage space) Cahirsiveen house is €395,000, via agent Maurice Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald and O’Connor.

He says that its owners bought it back around the year 2000, building on to the side with two en suite bedrooms added on over the double garage.
