Prices fall for detached homes

Four bedroom detached homes in Killorglin, Co Kerry, that were priced at €330,000 last year have just had a price drop to €240,000 and €250,000.

Last year’s price included a full finish worth about €20,000. The new offer only includes a builder’s finish so purchasers can pick and choose exactly how they want to fit out their house while saving €60,000 to €70,000 on last year’s prices.

There are four detached homes available for sale at the Cathair Lakes scheme, according to John O’Sullivan of Property Team Kingdom Properties, at the reduced price. All houses extend to 1,767 sq ft. The reason for the difference in price for one unit is the location in the development.

Each house has four bedrooms, one en suite and with a walk in wardrobe, a kitchen/dining room, sitting room, utility, bathroom and guest toilet. The development is covered by Homebond and there is a show house ready for viewing.
