Price down, sales up
As a result of reducing the asking price for three-bed semis at Barr na Sraide, in the seaside village of Ballyheigue, from €285,000 to €235,000, they have sold eight of the properties this year. “These have been sold in the last six to eight weeks. Seven of them were bought by people outside of the county and one by a local,” says auctioneer Pat Crean, who has just two of these properties remaining on his books.
Barr na Sraide is a development of 13 houses in the centre of the village a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Accommodation in the three-bed semis includes a living room, a family room, and a kitchen/dining room at ground level.
