Woodlands perfect €2m home for well-heeled family

HAVING just sold a Sunday’s Well family home for around €1.7 million, agents Savills HOK have another upper end family home as a new market offering near Cork city.

The period, and pretty, Eipka Lodge in Sunday’s Well went up for sale in October of last year, needing work, but trailing in garden glories and a stretch of riverbank as well within a walk of Cork city centre.

It had been offered at €1.75m (and needs modernisation) and is understood to have made quite close to that sum, showing resilience in the upper end of the residential market for key-located homes.
