Work begins on €10 million housing development

Dún Órga is a scheme of 36 new detached and terraced homes by the church in the well-served town, and is the current largest new home development locally since another development by the swimming pool was completed.

Notably, for buyers, the house sizes are all on the generous side: the smallest of all, the three-bed mid and end terrace units are 1,300 sq ft (the norm elsewhere is often 1,100 sq ft or less) and prices start at €249,000/€255,000, while 1,438 sq ft four-beds are €266,000. Detached four-bed homes of just under 1,800 sq ft are €340,000 to €355,000.
