New Mount Oval range of homes

A new range of residential units are being released at the Mount Oval scheme in Cork, where the supporting commercial units are now coming on stream.

The integral central Village Square is now being finished off in the 900 house scheme on 110 acres, and the new road access from Sli Charraig Dhonn/South Ring Road opens this month. Over 300 houses and apartments have been purchased, and demand is strong, says Pat Burton of Sherry FitzGerald. This weekend's launch of Maple Court - village apartments and duplex two-bed homes will complete the square. It consists of 65 elevated duplex homes and some garden level one-bedroom apartments. The two bed duplex house has 840 sq ft of space and is priced at €220,000, while the 540 sq ft one-bed units underneath with gardens are priced at €165,000.

Central apartments at Maple Court vary in size from 689 sq ft. to 786 sq ft, and are priced from €192,000 and €212,000. Also being sold are two three-bedroomed apartments of 855 sq ft, priced at €230,000.

A new development of 21 detached four bedroomed homes of 1,380 sq ft, Wrenbank, is priced from €315,000. There is a further release of homes at Clonlea, with two and three bedroomed, priced from €197,000, while at Dewberry four-bed detached homes are priced from €450,000.
