Buyers in a flutter for a gem among the holly trees

IT is a sure sign there'll be strong sales interest in a property when the vendors have had would-be buyers making cold calls to their door, asking if there's a chance the house might be sold to them.

That's been the case over the past few years at Holly Lodge, one of the best sited houses in the nicely bedded down Clonakilty scheme Redwood Park.

Just 15 houses were built here in part of the grounds of Shanahans Garden Nurseries, and the site's history means it not only has mature tree coverage, it also has some quite rare specimens as well.
