Village homes snapped up from the start

THE new Riversdale development in Rathcormac, Co Cork, has proved a winner with first-time buyers and investors, says auctionerr Noreen O’Sullivan, who is joint agent for the development with Michael Foody of Swift Property Services and GVM, Cork.

The first phase sold out on the weekend its was launched while many properties in phases two and three were also taken.

Prices start at 116,750 euro (£92,000) and the Leahy Bros development will also include retail and office accommodation, and a creche.

Rathcormac, on the N8, is five miles from Fermoy and 15 miles from Cork city.
