Readers' View: I send love from my little heart
I arrived hungry and angry as some strange man removed me from my place of comfort.
My beautiful mother held me close but she needed time to rest and recover.
Today I leave stronger and healthy, wide eyed and ready for the world.
To the nurses, mid-wife’s, doctors, consultants, to the cleaning staff, security guards and dinner ladies in CUH, thank you for taking care of my wonderful Mammy, for keeping me safe and looking after us.
The hard work, long hours and care is amazing and does not go unnoticed.
Thank you for everything and I send love from my little heart.
