Letter to the Editor: Hopefully Boris will get kicked to touch
Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson has succeeded in becoming Britain’s new prime minister.
How come, you may ask yourself, that people chose to vote for such a buffoon of a man as the person to lead their party or country?
You need only to study, without any great degree of depth, the quality of leadership that has been doing the rounds within the Conservative Party for the last number of years.
You could say without being anyway mean that the lightbulb was fairly dim in most of them, leading to a habit of walking over clifftops in terms of decision making.
Boris is a Trump double and it’s not because he was born in New York in June 1964, but because both have the same lack of human empathy that makes you stand out from the crowd for all the wrong reasons.
Typically speaking, they share the same genetics that propels them to speak first and think later, albeit a little too late in most cases.
As a graduate of Eton college, we can see the types of imbeciles they churn out every so often, and much to our detriment it seems, because one of Boris’s threats is to kick the backstop out over the sideline
Hopefully, Boris will be the one who gets kicked into touch.
