I didn’t hear anything about increasing our tree population in the Dáil committee report on climate change issued last week, only increased carbon tax.

Surely, we ought to embark on a massive tree planting campaign as a positive and practical means of countering carbon emission.

As regards to beef farming our beef is all grass-fed and thus natural as opposed to other countries which feed cattle on cereal. Meantime let us think of converting wasteland to woodland and forestry to help reduce our “carbon footprint”!
