Is Joe Schmidt demonstrating double standards?

Following last weeks announcement that Seán O Brien was heading off to London Irish, Joe Schmidt still played Seán against Scotland.

Contrast this with Simon Zebos announcement that he would be heading to Racing 92, and being dropped immediately from being included in the Irish selection panel, still with months left on his Munster contract.

This is a gross insult to those players who have decided for whatever reason to ply their trade elsewhere .

Can we afford to leave Zebo out with a World Cup opportunity coming up.

Joe Schmidt has to answer for these double standards.
