We must all welcome the statement by An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to Pope Francis, that there must be zero tolerance towards those who abuse children and facilitate that abuse.

Crimes against children are the most heinous of crimes and sexual abuse of children is particularly serious, but by far the most serious crime against children is the killing of children.
