I must congratulate Tom Cooper on his fine letter condemning the disgraceful, unwarranted media, political, and FAI bullying campaign against the GAA, which has been raging for some weeks now, and exposes the rampant hypocrisy, deception, and selective “equality” which is a distinct feature of this new modern Ireland about which everyone is raving.

I must congratulate Tom Cooper on his fine letter condemning the disgraceful, unwarranted media, political, and FAI bullying campaign against the GAA, which has been raging for some weeks now, and exposes the rampant hypocrisy, deception, and selective “equality” which is a distinct feature of this new modern Ireland about which everyone is raving.

When this matter came to light originally I had never heard of the deceased soccer player, until I heard Dave Barry on Liveline proclaiming the GAA had refused to accommodate a charity soccer match in Páirc Uí Chaoimh for a widow.
