Readers' Blog: Population growth must be controlled in Ireland

John MacBreg correctly stated that population growth will present “a growing, growing, growing problem” — ‘Population growth in our national plan will be a growing problem’ (Irish Examiner, Letters, June 30).

He also quotes David Attenborough: “All our environmental problems become easier to solve with fewer people and harder— and ultimately impossible to solve — with ever more people.”
