Ireland has made great strides over the past five decades or so in reducing discrimination on the grounds of gender, religion, ethnicity, class and sexual orientation.

However, successive governments have refused to acknowledge, let alone, tackle the very real discrimination suffered by a new generation of young people seeking a decent place to live.
