A promise is a promise
If he read my letter of April 10 correctly, he might observe that I was speaking of children of parents who did not practice any faith using Catholic schools, and receiving the sacraments of the Catholic Church just to get an education.
I was not speaking of children of other faiths. Parents of children of other faiths I am sure would wish their children to be instructed in that faith.
I respect all religions. I do not respect people who make a sacred promise at baptism to bring up their children in a certain faith and then renege on it.
