Quick response to the men of evil
Why? All I heard was that the US had troops in Saudi Arabia and supported Israel. The US has also done a lot to try to help the Palestinians and many other peoples around the world.
President Bush rightly felt he should bring those people to account. Thus we had the invasion of Afghanistan after the regime there refused to hand over the terrorists.
But Iraq has proved more challenging. Apparently the president could no longer wait for problems to evolve like Afghanistan. He believed they would have issues to deal with later and decided to nip them in the bud.
It would not make sense for the US to pull its troops out of Iraq now and let the warring factions kill more innocent people. If these terrorists want foreign troops to leave, why don't they halt the attacks and make their case in the political arena? I would like to hear the anti- war folk speak out against the acts of these terrorists.
Yes, some US troops from seven to 16 out of 130,000 mistreated prisoners and we all despise that. Yet it was nothing compared with the atrocities committed by the terrorists. The Irish military were not perfect either with some soldiers sent home by the UN.
