Anti-family measures tearing society apart

SO Alderman Máirín Quill is the latest public figure to join the parent-bashing brigade (Irish Examiner, January 29).

The social fabric of our society is disintegrating at the seams, Máirín, but as a consequence of the anti-parent, anti-child policies of all political parties.

Now that the chickens have come home to roost, the self-same politicians, are seeking a scapegoat. Parents are the soft option.
