Sky's the limit

WHILE it is disappointing to see that RTÉ has somehow managed to lose to Sky television the rights to broadcast FAI matches, it is extraordinary to hear RTÉ describe Sky in somewhat derogatory terms, as a "pay-for-view service".

I had thought that RTÉ itself was a pay-for-view service.

At least with Sky, we can choose not to obtain their service, an option TV licence payers do not have with RTÉ.
