IN regard to the controversy regarding tax dodgers over the past number of weeks and outrage at how they escaped discovery for so long, I must say I feel little surprise at their discovery.

I just cannot wait for the second saga of the Ansbacher accounts, when it will be discovered in about another 20 years.

The thing that amazes me about all of this is that people are so caught up in these stories that they have failed to see that tax evasion is still being carried out by certain landlords of this country, even today, as they continue to advertise their properties with the proviso ‘No Rent Allowance Accepted (RA)’.
