Media shapes thought

YOUR now predictable historical spin on what you call the “shameful echoes of an uncaring Ireland” is in contrast with what you write editorially: “sexual mores are changing dramatically in this country” (Irish Examiner, July 27).

Has your “enlightened” editorial policy on shaping thought and behaviour not contributed to this dramatic change? Has your piece nothing better to offer Ireland than pills for 11-year-olds?

Before you make up your mind, examine it. I doubt if you will publish this unsterilised.
