Good Friday Agreement is finished, so put the paramilitaries back behind bars
Even by their undemanding standards, they have hit an all-time low. After the Northern Bank robbery and refusal by prominent SF leaders to denounce the 1972 murder of Jean McConville as a crime, the squalid circumstances of Robert McCartney’s murder reveal contemporary Green republicanism for what it is - a movement of fascist gangsters who murderously prey on their own community while advocating genocide for unionists.
Clearly, the game is up for the Good Friday Agreement. Whatever the Sinn Féin leadership do now, they will never be fit for government. One wouldn’t allow a platform to the BNP in Britain, no matter how many votes they got, on the principle of ‘no platform for fascists.’ This must also apply to Sinn Féin/IRA.
