Ryanair attack ad was reprehensible

I WAS flabbergasted to see full page Ryanair advertisements ridiculing SIPTU in the press recently. Ryanair’s arrogance is breathtaking.

SIPTU represents the interests of its members, which is its function and indeed its democratic right.

That Ryanair should spend thousands of euro in an attempt to demean SIPTU is reprehensible and is reminiscent of the behaviour of employers towards trade union members at the beginning of the last century.
