Your old mobile phone can help a good cause

I AM writing on behalf of the Irish Hospice Foundation with whom we are running the ‘Help Your Local Hospice’ recycling appeal as part of our Charity of the Year programme.

Although we have raised a fantastic €10,000 so far this year from this scheme, we still have a long way to go to our target of €20,000. To take part in the appeal all we require are old mobile phones. Recycling these unwanted items creates much-needed funds used to support hospice care throughout Ireland and all monies raised will be used locally.
