KERRY County Council is very foolish to spend €1,000 an hour for a helicopter to watch illegal dumping at Killarney Park.

And all of this while Killarney was struggling to fund this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade.

Instead of spinning a helicopter or two all day in the sky, why not end this nonsense and spend the money on some worthy projects on the ground?
