The halo slips — is it a bad omen for FF?

I HAVE observed with interest the large numbers of election posters that have sprung up over the past few weeks.

Among these are posters for Gerry Collins who is seeking re-election as a Fianna Fáil MEP for Munster. There is what appears to be a halo of stars to the left side of his head. It is apparent that this halo has slipped from the normal position for such an adornment.

Is this a personal misfortune for Mr Collins or is it significant of the state of affairs in the Fianna Fail party as a whole?
