Death of dinosaurs

LET those of us who enjoy all sports — not just the amateur Gaelic pastime whose roots have not spread much further than its rural Irish origins — rejoice at the fact that the dinosaurs within the GAA have finally become extinct.

How refreshing that Ireland will at last be able to project its only state-of-the-art sporting arena, Croke Park, onto the world stage through those wonderful British inventions, rugby and soccer, which the majority of Irish people love to watch.
