I AM writing in response to the news that all weekend DART services from the southside of Dublin are to be cancelled for the next 18 months.

Like many others, I am sickened and infuriated by this. Once again the public are the last to know anything in this banana republic.

The Luas debacle is bad enough, but this is the last straw. And it could not come at a worse time. Christmas is only two months away.
